Receiving data Orderwave has a flexible framework to receive your orders into its workflow. We can take plain text ASCII files in the form of our Dual File Import Format, or the preffered method by developers, the orderwave API. The orderwave API is a host of XML calls that can be placed to our platform to add orders, check inventory, get tracking numbers, and more. This flexibility makes us the go-to choice for e-commerce clientele.
An intuitive interface Orderwave's order-viewing interface pulls all of the functions together in 1 easy to use place. At your fingertips, you will have the ability to modify customer address information, billing/payment information, SKU information, and more.
Automation Once an order is in orderwave, it is in the workflow. Every step of the workflow is automated. Depending on how your account is configured, all of your orders will have payments collected from their credit card or electronic check, inventory deducted, and formatted packing slips and data files sent for pack-outs. Even pre-customer service actions are automated. For example, if one of your customers returns their order without instructions, that customer will be queued up for an outbound call by the customer service team. No holes go left uncovered in the orderwave workflow!
